A Wounded Warrior Retreat
We have a new vision…A Wounded Warrior Retreat that offers a sense of belonging. You can help make this possible!
Recent statistics say that 18 veterans a day are taking their own life. This is a concern for all of us, as veterans reintegrate into communities. Feelings of loss: loss of team, loss of past identity, and even, at times, loss of purpose complicate the transition. Building connections and a sense of team are essential! SEMPERMAX Support Fund’s Wounded Warrior Retreat offers a path for success.
Focusing on the power of “togetherness”, proven effective in Co-Founder, Tim Maxwell’s vision for the wounded warrior barracks, Maxwell Hall, in Camp Lejeune, the Wounded Warrior Retreat continues the legacy of team healing. It will be a place to reconnect, get together, share lessons learned, heal in a nature rich environment, and get active. There is something for everyone.
Situated on 92 acres of wooded landscape, an hour outside of Richmond, Virginia, this Wounded Warrior Retreat is fully equipped and ready for immediate support of wounded warriors and their families, with enough capacity to expand. A spring fed, stocked lake, newly remodeled lodge, Saw Mill dining/meeting hall, and game preserve, provides guests a nature paradise with rustic charm and the comforts of home.
So, please consider providing a wounded warrior and their family with an opportunity to heal and reconnect at this Wounded Warrior Retreat. Donate now.
Thank you for your patriotism and support!
Respectfully,
Tim and Shannon Maxwell

A reported 18 veterans commit suicide every day. Help them know they are not alone. The envisioned SemperMax Support Fund Wounded Warrior Retreat offers a place for families to reconnect, a place for warriors to come together for information and shared healing, a place for peaceful reflection, and a place to go back to nature and engage in activities like fishing, hiking, horseshoes, basketball, etc. The possibilities are endless - bringing them together is essential!
You can make this possible through your donation.
